Choosing the ideal pot
According to nutritionists, the ideal pot for cooking is one that keeps the food from touching bare metal. The methods we use to clean pots that food has stuck to gradually damage the metal, and whatever the alloy, microscopic particles can break away and find their way into the food. Pots with enamel over the metal are therefore the healthiest.
They have drawbacks too: the enamel surface can craze over time, and because it heats quickly, food sticking to the base is common.
To address this, Eternity increased the gauge of the steel to 1.5 mm and, before applying the non-stick layer, introduced an aluminium-reinforced special enamel over the standard enamel interior. This makes the non-stick layer more resistant to abrasion from metal utensils, while the conductivity of the aluminium reinforcement spreads heat evenly across the whole surface.
In producing the pot closest to the nutritionists' ideal, Eternity has used every advantage enamel offers and decorated the enamel exterior with a wide range of patterns — giving women caught between health and convenience the chance to cook healthy food with pleasure, and with complete peace of mind, in colourful kitchens.
