Privacy Notice
Güzeliş Porselen San. ve Tic. A.Ş. takes the security of your personal data seriously. This notice is given under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and explains which personal data we process through this website, why, on what legal basis, and what your rights are. The Turkish version is the binding text.

2. What personal data we process
Contact form: your name, phone number (optional), email address, subject and whatever you write in your message.
Job application form: full name, place and date of birth, home address, phone and email, the position applied for, gender and marital status (optional), work experience, education, language and computer skills, certificates, and the name, phone number, company and role of the people you give as references.
When you visit the site: the technical logs the hosting server keeps for security (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser details). The site uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies; see the Cookie Policy for the preferences stored in your browser.
The forms do not ask for special categories of personal data (health, religion, union membership, criminal records and so on); please do not include such information in your message or application.
3. Why we process it
- To answer your questions, requests, suggestions and complaints, and to handle product, after-sales, distribution and export enquiries;
- To assess your job application, contact you for an interview and run the recruitment process;
- To keep the site and our information systems secure;
- To meet our legal obligations and respond to requests from the competent authorities.
4. How it is collected, and the legal basis
Your personal data is collected electronically, from you, when you fill in and send a form on this site or contact us by email or phone. A submitted form is delivered through this site's server to our company email address. The spam check (ALTCHA) sets no cookies and collects no personal data; to limit abuse, your IP address is kept only as an irreversible hash, for one hour.
We process it on these legal grounds under Article 5(2) KVKK:
- (c) it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract — answering your request, assessing an application;
- (ç) it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
- (f) our legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights — site security and server logs.
We carry out no processing that requires explicit consent. Sending a form is not a declaration of consent; the data is used only for the purposes described here.
5. Who we share it with
Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Only as far as the purposes above require, it may be passed to:
- the providers that host this site and our email, to deliver and store it;
- public authorities and courts legally entitled to request it.
Any such transfer is made in line with Articles 8 and 9 KVKK.
6. How long we keep it
Messages are kept for up to 2 years after your request has been dealt with, job applications for up to 6 months from the date of application, and server logs for the period required by law. After that the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your personnel file.
7. Your rights under Article 11 KVKK
By applying to the data controller you may:
- learn whether your personal data is processed;
- request information about it if it is;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly;
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
- ask for it to be corrected if incomplete or inaccurate;
- ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7 KVKK;
- ask for third parties it was transferred to be told of any correction, deletion or destruction;
- object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis;
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
To exercise your rights, send your request with information that identifies you, in writing to the address above or by email to info [at] guzelis.com.tr, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the request involves a separate cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
